Get to Know Me

Jenna’s path to becoming a therapist was a meandering one, and upon graduating from Oregon State University in 2008 with a BS in Fisheries and Wildlife, she anticipated a lifelong career in the environmental field. When it became clear that change was needed she re-evaluated. After much exploration and introspection Jenna applied for and was offered a position as an advocate for survivors of sexual violence at a non-profit in Eugene. She also provided legal advocacy support, as well as acted as the Rural Outreach Coordinator while in this role. From here she went back to school and completed both a M.Ed. in Prevention Science and a M.S. Couple’s and Family Therapy Program at The University of Oregon. She graduated in 2017 and relocated to Corvallis where she established her career as a therapist post graduate studies. This is all to say that she holds a hodgepodge of life experiences, deeply relates to those with ever-changing minds and the uncertainties that arise in life. She has worked with a wide range of ages in various settings from youth residential programs to private practice. She currently offers therapy to adults seeking individual or intimate partner therapy.

Outside of practicing therapy, Jenna enjoys spending intentional time with her family and loved ones. She is a mother of two children so naturally, much of this time is with them. She is also a lover of many a fuzzy, furry, winged, legged and tailed critters, as well as is fulfilled in nature generally. She is also perfectly content cozied up with her “floof’s” at home.
